Overview
AccountMaster is a purely client-side expense tracking app. We deeply respect your privacy. This app does not collect, upload, or share any personally identifiable information.
1. Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. This app has no servers, no backend. All data is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud.
Data you actively record includes:
- Transactions (amount, date, note, category)
- Category settings (name, icon, keywords)
- Budget settings (amount, alert threshold)
- Split records (members, expenses, settlement info)
2. Data Storage
- Local Storage: All data is stored in your device's local database by default
- iCloud Sync (optional): If enabled, data syncs via Apple CloudKit to your iCloud account, accessible only by you. Syncing is handled entirely through Apple's infrastructure; we cannot access your data

4. Third-Party Services
This app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party interactions are official Apple services:
- CloudKit (iCloud sync) β managed directly by Apple
- StoreKit (in-app purchase) β managed directly by Apple
5. Data Security
- Your data is stored in the encrypted sandbox provided by iOS
- When iCloud is enabled, transfer and storage are end-to-end encrypted by Apple
- We cannot access any of your data
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights:
- Access: View all your data anytime within the app
- Deletion: Delete individual records or uninstall the app to remove all data
- Control: Disable notifications or iCloud sync anytime in system settings
7. Children
This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Policy Updates
Significant changes to this policy will be communicated via app updates.
